Dementia Support Services

Dementia may be the most demanding illness today for patients, family members and friends.  Our newest service provides one-on-one consultations to help people understand the illness and its progression, identify resources and help people link to services in our community, provide support and counseling, and be an ongoing resource through the course of the illness.

Dementia Support Services is led by Heather McKay, a nationally recognized dementia educator, speaker and trainer.  Heather, who is an occupational therapist and the 2007 winner of the prestigious Marlys Mitchell Award, leads our team of counselors to provide this service to anyone in our community affected by dementia.  Call 336-532-7207, or our main number at 336-532-0100, or email  for more information or to schedule a complimentary consultation.
