Special Programs For Special Needs

We couldn’t do it without you! Since 1982, our volunteers have helped make our organization what it is today. Our volunteer opportunities include:

Patient support and respite: One of the most profound experiences in life is at its end. By volunteering to help our patients, you will have an opportunity to truly make a difference. By sitting with a patient, providing respite to a caregiver, offering emotional support, running errands or simply being present, you’ll help bring comfort and relief.

Our nationally recognized volunteer training program will give you the information and tools to provide that special kind of caring. The training is free and there’s no obligation – just click here to get information on our next training session.

Administrative: We have lots of needs around the office, from data entry to filing to even helping keep our grounds spruced up. Call 336-532-0100 for more information.

FunRaising! The Hospice League, organized in 1989, is the all-volunteer fundraising arm of Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. With more than 500 volunteers, the League has raised the funds to build and operate the Hospice Home in Burlington. That takes a lot of money – and a whole lotta FUN! Call 336-532-0196 to learn more or to help out!
